Moscow to host exhibition in Farman Salmanov's memory

The opening of the exhibition of archive photos dated to the 90th anniversary of Russian petroleum geologist Farman Salmanov will take place in the Azerbaijan Pavilion in the All-Russian Exhibition Center in Moscow on July 28. Report's Russian bureau informs that the exhibition is organized by the leadership of the Azerbaijan Pavilion and Pavilion No 25 'Neft.'

The exhibition organizers say that Farman Salmanov has made it into world history as the most successful geologist, who took part in discovering giant and extensive oil and gas deposits. Surgut International Airport was named after Salmanov on May 31, 2019.

Farman Salmanov is an inseparable part of the Russian and Azerbaijani history of the oil industry. Salmanov's stand occupies an honorable place in the Azerbaijan Pavilion.
