Mishustin says 'systematic work' underway to unblock transport links in South Caucasus

The creation of new infrastructure routes generally meets the interests of all states in the region, Russian Prime Minister Mikhail Mishustin said.

According to Report's Russian bureau, Mishustin was speaking at a meeting with Armenian Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan on the sidelines of a meeting of the Eurasian Intergovernmental Council, which is attended by the heads of government of the EAEU countries.

"In accordance with the agreements between the leaders of Russia, Azerbaijan and Armenia, we are conducting systematic work to unblock economic and transport ties in the South Caucasus," the Russian PM said.
