Mishustin, Japarov mull expanding co-op between two countries

The heads of government of Russia and Kyrgyzstan, Mikhail Mishustin and Akylbek Japarov, have discussed the issue of expanding cooperation between the two countries, Report informs referring to Kyrgyz media.

The talks took place on the sidelines of the Eurasian Economic Forum and the Eurasian Intergovernmental Council in Yerevan.

It was noted that mutual trade turnover has grown by 13% since the beginning of this year, and the governments of the two countries are actively working on long-term strategic tasks in the economy to expand cooperation.

Mishustin noted that Russia proposes to accelerate the launch of joint projects in the field of transport, logistics, industrial and agricultural cooperation, and the digital economy,
