Minister Bohlin: War may begin in Sweden

The Supreme Commander of the Swedish Armed Forces, Micael Bydén, and the head of the Ministry for Civil Defense, Carl-Oskar Bohlin, made a powerful appeal to the people of their country that all citizens should be ready for the start of war, Report informs, citing foreign media sources.

"There may be a war in Sweden, and all Swedes must act to strengthen the country's defense capabilities," Minister of Civil Defense Karl-Oscar Bohlin emphasized.

It is worth noting that the Supreme Commander of the Armed Forces, Micael Bydén, has already issued a similar warning: "It is known the country has not yet managed to join the Alliance, which means that, for now, Sweden remains alone with potential threats."

Byden urged the people not to forget what is happening in Ukraine now and to realize that no one is safe from war.

"Look at the news from Ukraine and ask yourself simple questions: if this happens here, will I be okay? What should I do? The more people who think, reflect, and prepare, the stronger our society is," Bydén emphasized.

He believes a "strong civil society" is more important than ever in the event of war.
