Azerbaijan and Türkiye are expected to sign new cooperation agreements in the field of defense industry, Mehmet Fatih Kacir, Minister of Industry and Technology of Türkiye, told Report.
The minister said that Türkiye attaches importance to strengthening cooperation with Azerbaijan in the fields of industry, technology, and energy:
"Azerbaijan and Türkiye have signed successful cooperation agreements in many fields, especially in the field of defense industry and technologies. The two countries ar expected to sign new ones. Currently, our relations with Azerbaijan continue at a strategic level. We attach importance to strengthening our relations in the fields of energy and industry in the coming period. We will also take new steps in cooperation in the defense industry."
Mehmet Fatih Kacir emphasized the possibility that the exemplary alliance between Türkiye and Azerbaijan will be applied to other Turkic states as well.
