Meeting between Russian, Ukrainian top diplomats yields no results

"I thank my Turkish counterpart Mevlut Cavusoglu for this meeting," Ukrainian Foreign Minister Dmytro Kuleba told a news conference after a trilateral meeting with Turkish and Russian Foreign Ministers in Antalya, Report informs.

"This was the first meeting between the foreign ministers of Ukraine and Russia after the war. The meeting was both difficult and easy. I tried to do my best," he said.

In his words, the meeting discussed the issue of a 24-hour ceasefire and the opening of humanitarian corridors: “Mr. Cavusoglu did serious work to bring the interests of both sides closer. I came to Antalya hoping for at least a 24-hour ceasefire. I hope that the humanitarian corridors will be opened. If Russia does not want this, we will not be able to stop the war. Because it does not seem realistic that Russia will declare a ceasefire. But Ukraine is strong and continues to struggle. We want to see a diplomatic solution but will not give up."

The foreign minister said that they will continue their struggle for the liberation of Russia-occupied lands in the regions.
