Media: Natural gas price to go up in Armenia

Baku. 13 December. REPORT.AZ/ Natural gas price will go up in Armenia, Report informs citing Jamanak newspaper.

According to the newspaper, no negotiations are being held with Russia to reduce natural gas price: "This means that Russia will sell natural gas to Armenia at a higher price beginning from January 1, 2019 and the gas price will be higher."

Armenia's acting Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan was earlier reported to plan to meet with Russian President Vladimir Putin to discuss the natural gas price. However, the discussion did not take place. The new government in Armenia will be formed in January 2019.

Russia sells 1,000 cubic meters of gas to Armenia for $150.
