Magnitude 5.2 earthquake strikes central Türkiye

A magnitude 5.2 earthquake has been recorded in the central region of Türkiye, sending tremors through the area. According to Report, which cites the European-Mediterranean Seismological Centre (EMSC), the epicenter of the quake was located 29 kilometers northeast of the city of Kozan, home to approximately 88,100 people.

The EMSC reported that the earthquake's focus was situated at a depth of 12 kilometers beneath the Earth's surface.

As of now, there have been no reports of casualties or structural damage resulting from this latest earthquake.
