Leopard spotted on Turkish-Azerbaijani border

A trail camera has spotted a leopard in the Turkish province of Igdir, on the Azerbaijani border.

Report informs, citing Turkish media, that Igdir mayor Mustafa Guzelkaya shared the images on social networks.

Koc University Professor Chagan Shekercioglu said the leopard's habitat ends 15 kilometers away from the border of Igdir.

"They are mastering new territories, moving towards the Nakhchivan Autonomous Republic and further into the lands of the neighbor countries," he said.
