Lavrov: West has not provided evidence of Iran's UAV supplies to Russia

Western statements about Iran's alleged deliveries of drones to Russia remain unsubstantiated, Russian Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov told Russian media, Report informs.

"Westerners started a fuss in the UN Security Council in connection with the alleged deliveries of Iranian drones to Russia. As usual, everything is in the style of 'highly likely.' They cannot give facts, and they do not try," Lavrov said.

The Ukrainian authorities have repeatedly stated that the Russian Federation uses Iranian drones in hostilities. The European Union imposed additional sanctions on Iran due to its support of Russia in the Ukraine war. The blacklist includes four individuals and four companies associated with the production and supply of UAV drones to Russia.

Recently, The Washington Post, citing sources, reported that Iran is ready to supply Russia with 6,000 UAVs.
