Lavrov: Humanitarian Center on Karabakh will be discussed with Pashinyan

A Russian interdepartmental delegation will discuss with Armenian Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan the Interdepartmental Humanitarian Response Center for Nagorno-Karabakh and economic cooperation issues.

Russian Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov said, Report informs, citing TASS.

"We are interested in looking at the whole complex of our relations today, in a situation when, after lengthy negotiations, the statement of the three leaders - Armenia, Azerbaijan, and the Russian Federation - was adopted on November 9. It put an end to the bloodshed and created an opportunity to stabilize the situation in all its dimensions, including the humanitarian one. Our peacekeepers are actively engaged in implementing this agreement, including providing [the center] with humanitarian assistance," Lavrov said at a Russian interdepartmental delegation meeting with the Armenian Prime Minister.

"We will also discuss issues related to the formed interdepartmental center for humanitarian response. It is also a new structure that will exhaustively work to meet the civilian population's needs, restore civilian infrastructure, and, of course, current issues of our economic cooperation, cooperation in the energy sector," the Russian Foreign Minister added.
