The Kyrgyz Defense Minister Baktibek Bekbolotov proposed the deployment of a CSTO mission on the border with Tajikistan, Report informs, citing 24.kg.
The Minister said he discussed the situation on the Kyrgyz-Tajik border with CSTO Secretary General Stanislav Zas.
“I recently met with the CSTO Secretary General, Stanislav Zas. I told him there won’t be peace between Kyrgyzstan and Tajikistan because both sides have their truth. A third judge must stand between us, for example, from the CSTO, a small CSTO contingent with its mission to supervise the ceasefire and withdraw heavy equipment from the state border.”
