Kyrgyz president to visit Japan

President of Kyrgyzstan Sadyr Japarov will make an official visit to Japan on November 17-20, said the head of the foreign policy department of the presidential administration of Kyrgyzstan, Muratbek Azymbakiev, Report informs referring to local media.

“As part of the visit, meetings and negotiations will be held with Emperor Naruhito, Prime Minister Fumio Kishida, Speaker of Parliament Fukushiro Nukaga, and members of parliament. Meetings will also be held with the leadership of such structures as the Japan Business Federation, the Japan Association of Travel Agents, the Export-Import Bank of Japan, the Japan External Trade Organization, Japan International Cooperation Agency, and others,” Azymbakiev noted.

He added that during the meetings the parties will discuss current issues of development and expansion of Kyrgyz-Japanese cooperation in all areas of mutual interest, including trade, economic, cultural, humanitarian and consular and visa areas.

A number of bilateral documents are planned to be signed as part of the visit.
