Kyiv police detain man attempting to detonate grenade in government building 

On Wednesday, Kyiv police detained a man who forced his way into the building of Ukraine's Cabinet of Ministers and threatened to detonate a grenade, head of the National Police Ihor Klymenko said.

"A non-standard situation has arisen. He is a veteran of anti-terrorist operations (operation against separatists in eastern Ukraine). He was wounded twice. He is suffering from traumatic brain injury. He committed the crime in connection with living conditions," he said.
