"We would like to hold more active and effective talks with Ukraine," Russian President Vladimir Putin's spokesman Dmitry Peskov said, Report informs, citing RIA Novosti.

"It is true that certain processes are underway. But we want more meaningful talks," Peskov said.

Peskov also claims that Russophobia is widespread in the world today.

"There are very few measures to prevent this. Because international law does not actually work," he said.
