Kremlin: No requests from Trump team to organize contacts with Putin

The Kremlin has not received any requests from US President-elect Donald Trump's team regarding organizing contacts with Russian President Vladimir Putin, Kremlin Spokesman Dmitry Peskov said, Report informs via TASS.

"No, there haven't been any requests. But on the other hand, for understandable reasons, it would probably be more appropriate to wait until (the new US president) takes office. If after taking office there remains political will to resume contacts at the highest level, then of course President Putin would welcome this. He has repeatedly spoken about his readiness for dialogue and the necessity of this dialogue," Peskov noted.
