Korotchenko: Lavrov cooled Tehran’s belligerence

Russian Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov made it clear to Tehran during his talks with his Iranian counterpart that Moscow negatively perceives Iranian saber-rattling in areas bordering Azerbaijan, Russian military expert, editor-in-chief of the Natsionalnaya Oborona magazine Igor Korotchenko wrote in his Telegram channel, the Russian bureau of Report informs.

“Lavrov cooled Tehran’s belligerece. The Russian foreign minister, during the talks with his Iranian counterpart, made it clear to Tehran that Moscow negatively perceives Iranian saber-rattling in areas bordering with Azerbaijan and considers the unblocking of transport communications, including the launch of the Zangazur Corridor, to be the most important factor in stabilizing the situation in the South Caucasus region,” Korotchenko wrote.
