Klitschko urges Kyiv residents not to return to city yet

Two-thirds of those who left the capital Kyiv after Russia's large-scale war in Ukraine have already returned to the city, Kyiv Mayor Vitali Klitschko said, Report informs, citing UNIAN.

According to him, despite the recommendations, people continue to go back every day:

"We cannot ban them in this regard but can only advise them not to return to the city yet. In the current situation, it is not worth returning to the city. Because public transport does not work, inspections are carried out at every post."

According to the mayor, the military defending Kyiv said there was a danger that the city would come under rocket fire. Klitschko said another threat is related to the demining work around the Kyiv region.

He also recalled that several people were killed in the blasts.
