Kazakhstan not to return conscripted Russians

Kazakhstan will not return conscripted Russians, the Foreign Affairs Minister of Kazakhstan, Marat Akhmetjanov, said, Report informs via Kursiv.

According to the minister, there is no legal basis for announcing a search for conscripts in Russia.

The minister said that an international search should be launched for them in order to hand them over from Kazakhstan to Russia: "It's not about mobilization. I am not talking about mobilization. I'm talking about criminal acts."

Akhmetjanov said that the military commissariat's announcement of a search for conscripts is not considered a legal basis for their handover.

On September 21, after Russian President Vladimir Putin announced mobilization to send more troops to the war with Ukraine, the flow of Russians to countries with visa-free access increased.
