Kazakhstan evacuates 41 citizens from Lebanon

A total of 41 Kazakh citizens have successfully returned to their homeland from Lebanon. The evacuation was carried out through Istanbul and Dubai, Report informs, citing Kazakhstan's Foreign Ministry.

According to Kazakh media, the repatriation was initiated by the order of President Kassym-Jomart Tokayev and facilitated by the relevant state bodies of Kazakhstan. The Ministry stated, "In connection with the aggravation of the situation in the Middle East, and by the order of President Kassym-Jomart Tokayev, as well as with the assistance of the relevant state bodies of Kazakhstan, citizens of the country and their family members were evacuated from Lebanon."

The Ministry further reported that a total of 41 individuals were safely brought back to Astana and Almaty from Beirut between October 17 and October 31, 2024.
