Kazakh Prime Minister Olzhas Bektenov has ordered to strengthen aviation security following the crash of an AZAL aircraft operating the Baku-Grozny flight near Aktau, Report informs via Kazakh media.
"This sad event indicates that we also need to take certain measures regarding flight safety... As part of ongoing activities, we need to recheck the qualifications, permits, and competence of aircraft crews in our airlines. To respond promptly to aviation incidents, we need to improve the mechanism of emergency rescue operations and ensure coordinated work of interested government agencies," he said.
He emphasized that proper conclusions must be drawn from this situation, developing specific recommendations to prevent similar incidents in the future.
