Joseph Borrell, the High Representative of the EU for Foreign Affairs and Security Policy, will visit Georgia in a few days, Prime Minister of Georgia Irakli Garibashvili said, Report informs, citing Sputnik Armenia.
According to him, the issue of Georgia's EU membership will be discussed during the meeting: "We will inform him about the current situation in the process of implementing the 12 recommendations of the European Commission. I believe that our European counterparts will have enough points to give the country the status it deserves."
Garibashvili did not reveal the exact date of the visit.
