The joint Turkish-Azerbaijani-Georgian exercises in Tbilisi were not directed against anyone, Turkish Ambassador to Georgia Fatma Ceren Yazgan said in an interview with a local TV, Report informs.
According to the envoy, the purpose of the training, aimed at ensuring the security of oil pipelines and transport corridors, was to increase cooperation.
The ambassador also said that no force in the region can benefit from escalations.
“Escalations can only hurt countries like ours. Iran is also part of this region. Therefore, it is necessary to find common interests,” she added.
