Iranian forces have destroyed a US radar system in Qatar.
According to Report, citing Tasnim news agency and a statement from the public relations department of the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC), the radar targeted was the FP132, an early-warning system with a range of 5,000 kilometres, equipped with specialised ballistic missile tracking technology.
"The US FP132 radar, located in Qatar and equipped with unique systems for monitoring ballistic missiles, has been completely destroyed," the statement said.
All US facilities in the Middle East region are considered legitimate targets for the Iranian military, the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC) said in a statement, according to Report.
The statement said that Iran's military operation will continue until the targets are destroyed completely.
"All Israeli and American military targets in the Middle East have been struck by powerful Iranian missile strikes, and all US facilities in the region are considered legitimate targets for the Iranian military," the statement said.
The Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC) will respond to attacks on Iranian territory in the coming hours.
According to Report, media outlets cited the IRGC command as saying the operation has been named "End of the Flood."
