Iran has an alternative project in case of failure of negotiations on the renewal of the nuclear deal, Iranian Foreign Minister Hossein Amir Abdollahian said at a press conference during his visit to Baghdad, Report informs referring to ISNA.
“The US statements on Iran’s nuclear dossier are contradictory. If negotiations fail, Iran has an alternative project,” he said.
Earlier, US State Department spokesman Ned Price said that the restoration of the Joint Comprehensive Plan of Action (JCPOA) is hardly possible in the near future.
The inspectors of the International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA) are in Tehran and carry out the necessary inspections of nuclear facilities.
