Iran’s VP to attend funeral ceremony of Ismail Haniyeh in Doha

Iran’s Vice President Mohammad Reza Aref has embarked on a visit to Doha, Qatar, to attend the funeral of Hamas leader Ismail Haniyeh, who was killed in Tehran, Report informs via IRNA.

The farewell ceremony will be held at the Imam Muhammad bin Abdul Wahhab mosque in Doha, where funeral prayers will be offered.

Haniyeh will be buried in Lusail Cemetery, north of Doha.

The Hamas leader was killed at his residence in Tehran on July 31.
