Iran"s Atomic Energy Organization has lodged a protest with International Atomic Energy Agency Director General Rafael Grossi.
According to Report, citing Khabar Fouri, the protest was prompted by Grossi's failure to respond to a letter sent from Tehran.
In the statement, the organization said the IAEA's silence in the face of US and Israeli strikes on Iran's peaceful nuclear facilities "is not merely inaction, but amounts to complicity in air attacks." It added that protest letters had been sent to the director general following what it described as unjust attacks, warning that such "historic negligence" could further undermine the agency's credibility.
The development follows an Israeli strike on March 27 targeting a uranium ore concentrate production facility in Iran's Yazd province. Iran informed the IAEA on March 28, while Grossi said an investigation is currently underway.
