Iran plans to simplify, develop trade partnerships with regional countries

The Iranian Parliament and the Ministry of Foreign Affairs will cooperate to facilitate regional trade cooperation, Iranian Foreign Minister Abbas Araghchi wrote in Telegram following a meeting with members of the Parliament's Economy Committee and the Economic Diplomacy Committee, Report informs.

During the meeting, Araghchi explained the diplomatic apparatus' measures and programs in the economic sphere, emphasizing the ministry's readiness to closely collaborate with the Parliament to achieve the country's economic goals and develop international partnerships.

The meeting participants discussed the most important issues of economic diplomacy, the development of trade cooperation and foreign investment, ways to expand non-oil exports, and the potential of regional and economic diplomacy to support the national economy.
