Iran hands over 200 strategic UAVs to its army

The ceremony of handing over more than 200 strategic unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs) developed by the Iranian Defense Ministry to the Iranian army took place in several locations. The drones are equipped with air-to-air and air-to-ground missiles, auto-guided bombs with intelligent air takeoff and an electronic warfare system, Report informs via Tasnim agency.

The ceremony, which took place in several regions of the country, was attended by the commander-in-chief of the army, General Abdolrahim Mousavi, Defense Minister Mohammad Reza Ashtiani and other high-ranking officials.

According to the agency, at the ceremony, the Iranian army was handed over such weapon models as Ababil 5, Ababil 4, Arash, Karrar, Shahrivar 10th, Akhgar, Switchblade, Homa, drones launched from submarines, vertical takeoff, capable of performing, among other things, various tasks related to reconnaissance, destruction of an object, confrontation between a moving and stationary target, as well as anti-radar properties and decryption skills.
