A draft version of the agreement on the resumption of the nuclear deal with Iran has been prepared, but several unresolved issues remain, Iranian Foreign Ministry spokesman Saeed Khatibzadeh said at a press conference on Monday.
"Aspects remain that need to be resolved. We are talking about the lifting of sanctions, guarantees, and some political claims against Iran's peaceful nuclear activities, which should be resolved accordingly," he said.
The diplomat added that "a draft [of the agreement] was prepared jointly." According to him, the Iranian delegation "is in Vienna not to conclude a new agreement." "We are in Vienna to make sure that the US intends to return to the nuclear deal and lift sanctions," Khatibzadeh said.
