Iran: 1,374 new coronavirus cases, 73 deaths recored

According to the latest reports on Saturday, the total number of coronavirus cases in Iran has reached 80,868, of whom 5,031 have lost their lives to the deadly virus, adviser to Iran's health minister Alireza Vahabzadeh said.

The novel coronavirus (COVID-19) emerged in late 2019 in China's Hubei province, and the virus has spread to 210 countries and territories since then.

To date, COVID-19 cases surpassed 2,261,037 globally, resulting in more than 578,964 recoveries and over 154,726 deaths.
