Investigative Committee says all 11 identified defendants in case of terror attack in Crocus arrested

The investigation into the terror attack in the Crocus City Hall concert hall near Moscow has identified 11 defendants; they have been arrested on charges of participation in the crime, according to the Investigative Committee of the Russian Federation (ICR), Report informs via Interfax.

“At the moment, 11 persons involved in the commission of a particularly serious crime have been identified in the criminal case. All have been charged and a preventive measure in the form of detention has been chosen,” says a message posted on April 8 on the ICR telegram channel.

The department noted that “significant data on the circumstances of terrorists’ preparation for a crime have already been received, which may indicate their connection with the Ukrainian special services.”

“Work continues with victims and witnesses, the identities of those killed as a result of the terror attack are being established. Investigative actions and operational search activities are being carried out aimed at identifying and detaining other participants in the crime - perpetrators, accomplices and organizers,” the statement says.
