Hurricane hits Georgia, knocks out 87 trees, damages roofs of 62 buildings

Tbilisi. 19 February. REPORT.AZ/ Strong wind observed in Georgia over the last three days has led to some complications.

Local bureau of Report informs that Georgia Emergency Management Agency received 261 calls regarding the hurricane and wind problems. Only 200 calls were from capital Tbilisi. 87 trees fell, roofs of 62 buildings collapsed, 32 cars were seriously damaged, 4 advertising boards were destroyed.

No casualties are reported. Relevant measures are taken in time for the elimination of the consequences.

Strong winds in Georgia are expected to die down tomorrow.
