Hungary records British COVID-19 strain

A new British coronavirus strain has been discovered in Hungary, Report informs, referring to Reuters.

"My colleagues have already identified the "British" variant of the virus, which the neighboring countries registered, in the analysis of 3 patients," said Cecilia Müller, Hungary's chief sanitary officer.

On December 14, the UK Health Minister Matt Hancock announced that British scientists had identified a mutated COVID-19. New strains have already been discovered in many countries.
