Hulusi Akar: "First part of the anti-terror operation in northern Iraq completed"

The first part of the special operation, codenamed Pence-Kilit, has been completed, Turkish Minister of Defense Hulusi Akar said, Report informs, citing TRT Haber.
"An extremely comprehensive plan was implemented. The soldiers are in a good mood. Despite the difficulties, we reached the goal. This is the first page. Operations will continue. Terrorists hiding in caves and shelters must be cleared. The first part has been completed," the minister said.

H. Akar said that senior lieutenant Omar Delibash and lieutenant Kaan Kanlikuyu were martyred as a result of the operation: "Terrorists are in a desperate situation. They try to control the process with lies and dreams. No matter where they are, they won't be able to escape. There is no question that we will take a step back. The operation continues successfully. Our goal is to save our nation from the scourge of terrorism. To date, 30 terrorists have been neutralized."
