Heavy truck traffic banned on Georgia-Russia border road

The movement of heavy trucks on the road leading to the Georgia-Russia border has been banned, Report informs.

The restrictions have been put in place due to unstable weather conditions in the region.

Meanwhile, the road remains open for other types of vehicles.

The Mleta-Gudauri section of the road is experiencing unhindered traffic flow. However, in the Gudauri-Kobi section, vehicles can only pass through the designated tunnels.
