Health Minister: Georgia has detected no cases of new coronavirus strain

The spread of the new type of COVID-19 in Georgia has not yet been confirmed, Report's local bureau informs.

According to tHealth Minister Ekaterina Tikaradze, the Richard Lugar Laboratory is studying suspected cases.

"As soon as the results are known, the public will be informed."

Georgia's chief epidemiologist Amiran Gamkrelidze does not rule out the spread of a new strain in the country.
