Head of Dagestan contracts coronavirus

COVID-19 was discovered in Dagestan's acting head, Colonel-General Sergei Melikov, Report informs, citing RIA Novosti.

According to the Dagestan government's press service, the colonel-general said he was feeling well and planned to work in isolation.

Melikov was appointed on October 5, 2020. He replaced Vladimir Vasilyev.
