Haber Global: Insufficient funds and unsold tickets plague Paris Olympics

The funds allocated for the Paris 2024 Olympic Games were not enough, and there are a large number of unsold tickets, Report informs.

Emre Timur, a reporter for the Turkish Haber Global TV, highlighted these issues in a program from France. He reported that bacteria had been detected in the water intended for athletes’ competitions.

Timur also pointed out significant infrastructure problems in Paris, stating, “This hinders transportation. Both local residents and tourists are unhappy with this situation. The price of public transport has doubled, increasing local dissatisfaction.”

He further noted that there is no Olympic atmosphere in the country.

Additionally, Timur drew attention to the politicization of the Olympics by the French state channel.
