Grossi: IAEA to negotiate with Iran on nuclear deal

The International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA) will negotiate a nuclear deal with Iran, Rafael Grossi, Director General of IAEA, told journalists within the framework of COP29 held in Baku, Report informs.

"We will deal with it in Tehran, where I will hold meetings with the foreign minister and other officials," he said, adding that the nuclear deal with Iran is of strategic importance.

Grossi also highlighted the discussions at COP29 in Baku: "A number of decisions are made here that are closely related to the policies of the states. Therefore, I think that the energy security aspect is very important," he said.
