Grigoryan: Security issues won’t be discussed at EU-US-Armenia meeting

The EU-US-Armenia trilateral meeting, which will be held in Brussels, has an economic agenda, Secretary of Armenia’s Security Council Armen Grigoryan said in an interview with the Public Television, Report informs.

He noted that the meeting is a continuation of the meeting between Prime Minister of Armenia Nikol Pashinyan and the head of the European Commission Ursula von der Leyen in Granada.

“Regional and security issues will not be discussed at the meeting, but new systemic issues will be discussed. Our relations with the EU and the US are changing,” he added.

Grigoryan noted that Armenia, for objective and subjective reasons, didn’t have access to Western technologies, and this meeting is an opportunity to open such access.

The trilateral meeting will take place on April 5.
