Georgian youth: Armenia - mono-ethnic country with little tolerance

Georgian youth regards Armenia as a mono-ethnic country where there is little tolerance, according to a survey, conducted among young people by the Georgian Foundation for Strategic and International Studies (Rondeli Foundation).

Report informs that the youth believe that similar features between Georgia and Armenia are religion (despite the difference in confessions), architecture and hospitality.

According to young people of Armenian origin who participated in the survey, Armenians and Georgians are similar in family and other values ​​and traditions. They noted that Georgians and Azerbaijanis are more religious, religion is of great importance in their lives.

The survey was conducted from July 23 to August 18, 2021 by phone among 1,539 young people aged 18-29 years.
