Georgian security service prevents murder of Israeli citizen ordered from Iran

The murder of an Israeli citizen ordered from abroad has been prevented in Georgia, Report informs, citing the Press Service of the State Security Service of Georgia (SSSG).

An Iranian citizen reportedly ordered the murder.

The delivery of weapons was carried out by a group of people with dual citizenship of Georgia and Iran who live permanently in Georgia. Secret places were used for the transfer of weapons. There was no direct contact between the group carrying out the transportation of weapons and the hired killer. Coordination was carried out from outside the country.

SSSG announced that several people were detained, and firearms, ammunition, and data carriers were confiscated. Other details were not disclosed.
