Railway service between Georgia and Azerbaijan remains suspended for now.
According to Report, which cites Georgian media and Georgian Railways (GR), efforts to restore passenger train service between Baku and Tbilisi are still underway, but no exact date for resumption has been announced.
Train traffic between the two neighboring countries was halted in March 2020 due to the COVID-19 pandemic. Although Georgia's Ministry of Economy previously stated that services might resume on May 1, Georgian Railways has not confirmed this timeline.
