Georgian PM: "I am very active in mediating between Azerbaijan and Armenia"

Georgia will continue to participate in the mediation process between the two neighboring countries - Azerbaijan and Armenia, Georgian Prime Minister Irakli Garibashvili said, Report informs.

Garibashvili said his visit to Armenia on October 8 was very successful:

“One of the main topics of discussion was regional cooperation and the Peaceful Neighborhood Initiative of Georgia, which envisages close cooperation between the three countries in the region.”

The Georgian prime minister said he was very active in mediating between Azerbaijan and Armenia:

“Georgia plays an important and significant role in this process. In June of this year, our mediation between Azerbaijan and Armenia, with the consent of the leaders of both countries, set a successful precedent.”
