Georgian PM, EU envoys discuss country's European integration

Georgian Prime Minister Irakli Garibashvili and representatives of the External Action Service (EEAS) of the European Union and the European Commission discussed the process of the country's integration into the EU at a meeting in Tbilisi, Report informs via TASS.

Garibashvili discussed the process of Georgia's European integration with European diplomats in an informal setting. Tbilisi will host a high-level regional conference of EU ambassadors, organized by the EU Delegation.

The forthcoming meeting will be attended by high-ranking representatives of the EEAS, including the heads of the EU delegations in the countries of Central Asia, the Eastern Partnership initiative, as well as Türkiye and Austria. Participants of the forum, the timing of which is not specified, met on Tuesday with the Prime Minister of Georgia. "As noted at the official breakfast, the conference of ambassadors in Georgia underlines the importance of Georgia in the region for the European Union," the press service of the government said.
