Georgian party demands gov't to recognize Bucha massacre as genocide

The United National Movement Party of Georgia has prepared a resolution recognizing the massacre of civilians in the Ukrainian city of Bucha as genocide, party chairman Nika Melia told a briefing, Report informs.

Nika Melia said that the document would be submitted to the Georgian Parliament today.

He noted that at present, Georgia does not assess the events in Bucha as genocide, but as a war crime.
