Georgian opposition: Official Tbilisi sees future of Georgia in Russia, but people do not want it

“The current government sees the future of Georgia in Russia. The vast majority of the Georgian people do not want this. Society supports the Western governance system,” said Saba Buadze, a functionary of the Lelo Party, at a protest action held by the Georgian opposition in Tbilisi on September 2, Report informs.

According to him, the situation in Georgia changed after the beginning of the Russian-Ukrainian war: "The Russians are obviously trying to have the country by their side."
