Georgian party requires explanation from MFA on delivering weapons to Armenia

According to the MP, if the information reflects the truth, then Georgia has violated international obligations: "The news spread by the Azerbaijani media about the delivery of weapons to Armenia through Georgia's territory is disconcerting. According to Georgia's international commitments, military cargo cannot be handled through the country. We urge the Foreign Ministry to clarify this issue before the public. "

She noted that if Georgia violates its international obligations, it will seriously undermine its relations with Azerbaijan, a strategic partner, and ally.

According to the Azerbaijani media, recently, various types of mortars were delivered to Armenia from Serbia in the big party via Georgia. Those weapons and ammunition were used in battles in the direction of Tovuz.
