Georgian foreign minister: Opposition summoned to Brussels for training

Georgian Foreign Minister Maka Bochorishvili commented on the opposition's recent increased political activity.

Report informs that the minister assessed the opposition representatives' visit to Brussels as part of coordinated action against Georgia.

Bochorishvili claimed that they were called there for "receiving new instructions."

"This is more like receiving new instructions from bureaucrats in Brussels - on how to behave, what steps to take. We observe coordinated activity among the opposition and some political activists. They will probably receive new instructions and plan various actions on that basis in the future," the foreign minister said.

Bochorishvili noted that the Georgian authorities are responding to all these activities with real action:

"We are working to ensure stable development opportunities in the country. Our response to the opposition's provocations is concrete and consistent action."
